Make sure you don't have a fat bald man cartoon on the back side.

yupo is a bitch.

it stretches, so be sure to use a loop and triple check the registration and any hairlines you may have.

2 color
i learned a lot todaythat paper is a trip
they molecularly charge the paper at the mill to repel pretty much everything but the specialty ink mix. there are 2 types of ink you can use, normal ink and UV ink. the UV ink is ideal but needs a press with a UV lamp to dry it. our press doesnt have that lamp. so they ran 1000 of a 10000 run to test. they put a porous aqueous coating on it so the ink can *maybe dry underneath. if it works, they will drop another non porous aqueous 36 hours later. they had to use a different powder to separate the paper at the end of the run because the powder they were using was making the solid coverage form a scale like texture.bloody hell!!
it's gonna work though, for the love of all holy
it will work*shakes fist

good thread....I was wondering about this stuff. Have a restaurant client that wants drink menus printed on this stuff.

Here ya go.....
No real special treatment for the use of this ink on YUPO. We've done it before and it works perfectly.

Vinyl Ink is good on it also for screen printing posters

thats some crazy ink
guess its not usable on press though cause they dont offer process.
have you used it for screen printing? bet it is a bitch to wash down the screen. ive only used water based inks. cause they are clean up friendly the emus;ion lasts

Clean up is a pain, but you can't beat it for coverage and feel. You'll also need to use a resporator when printing viynl inks.
