one i did for the i think the stupidest person i'e ever met in my life. He had given me a black and white, wireframe style image to show me what layout he wanted. I made something kinda nice, with textures and stuff. He considered it wasnt what he had told me. So I took his image, and followed it exactly. It was the quickest and easiest contract i ve ever done. he was very happy. But it's also the ugliest design I've ever done.

there should never be a situation in which you make an absolutely fugly design if you have any hand in it, if it's been 'designed' and all you're doing is production, fine. fight for good design, don't bend over.

lol - you have no idea how much I fought - to the point of just dropping the job completely...when you have a client that isn't going to listen to reason nor rhyme - there is nowt left to do but do things his way - or you don;t get paid.

I fought with the guy for months on this. He wanted a total rip off of a site. Can you guess what site :)? We ended up going our separate ways and i never got paid.. Was one of my first web jobs and one to mark in the books as experience.
