yeah, at the end, you get the impression that once the storms have stopped then then that's it.
My 2 units of palaeoclimatology at college would lead me to think that the ice is then in place for at least 5000 years more...

We just saw it tonight. The whole audience was laughing throughout. Cruel NYC. :)
Despite the acting & storyline, the graphics were great.

i haven seen it yet, but the fact that a norwegian student was invited to do some of the graphics on the movie is pretty cool (for me as a fellow norwegian)
looking forward to this one ;)

love that medium shot of the Capitol Records building getting all torn up, hilarious. i love that building, looks like the leaning tour of pizza!
was it just me or does it seem like the writer(s) wrote like the first 75% of the cool shit(the first 75% of the movie) and then realized: HEY, how the fuck are we gonna end this movie on a good note?! and so they just like left the world half frozen at the end and all haha

i was told to leave my brain at the door when i saw it, so i went in with very low expectations... anticipating another id4 with better effects. i was actually satisfied with the movie. mostly because the only will smith i had to put up with was in the i robot trailer... on a side note the tornado effects were amazing.

like we need another opinion.....ANYWAY
i think the story over all could have been written little better. i mean guy getting killed from the hail was too cheese. The tornados were way over done, tho their destruction was so realistic it was scary. The wolves could have used some more work.
Other than that the layout of the movie was great, the effects were amazing and the politcal stance on the movie, to me, was dead on.

1. If the temperature is dropping to deathly levels, just close the door and you will be ok.
2. I was really hoping that when the girl cut her leg in the water that sharks were going to come after her, cuz that would have been ALMOST as awesome as the wolves.
3. If you are an officer trying to get a French family out of a car, wait until you have a translator to see if that's what they really want. I mean.. with that language barrier you have no idea what they might be saying.
