dvd Decrypter to rip (and decrypt obviously)
dvd Shrink to compress.both programs are free and super easy to use. i have been going crazy with my netflix account...i mean backing up my dvd collection.

hmmm. not sure about ps2 games.
I almost want to say it would work because it creates a disk image. but then again it is sony, and they are fucking crazy with their copy protection stuff.
