well, if you like something, it's not shit is it? There isn't a universal Good and Shit list. I reckon something can only be regarded as shit if everyone who's ever heard it thinks it's shit. Which is unlikely. I think pretty much all musical artisitic endevour will have some merit.

i like the video to fit and you know it... but that's as far it goes.
It's still music snobbery to overly slate it. I think Britney is shite but there are still millions of people who love it, and it makes millions of people happy - and that's what music is about.

one station here in atlanta has played 'fit but you know it' and I had heard it on Radio 1 probably a couple of weeks before that....I thought it was humorous. I have a feeling that because that song is so different from what's out there right now, it's going to be fairly big here. I haven't heard the rest. Guess I'll check and see if ITunes has it and have a listen

streets is dope. not all the tracks from the first or new album rock, but still. comin from an american. mike skinner is takin urban genres of music and blendin them together euro stylee. some people just don't get it. somethin like britney spears - theres nothing to get, no substance.
