god damn I have a lot of folders labelled crap, crap01, crap_old04 crap folders in side of crap folders, desktop_crap

You could...
use y-m-d date as the start of the folder name...sorts alphabetically by date in list viewuse an image catalog program like iView that allows you to view/sort across multiple folders by folder heirarchy or date, or image type or arbritrary project sets or labels.....etc.

OR you could just dump all your images into one nice folder, NICE FOLDER, and enjoy your organizational skillz.

My folders build up as misc 1, misc 2, etc.
the files are terrible on my personal experiments too. I usually just hit buttons until I get a name like 'asdasdfa.ai'.

haha, yeah to 'asdasdfa'..
When trying just to save images quickly in a big folder, I end up with like..
a.jpg
aa.jpg...through to
aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg, so I can 'find' them easily and quickly.Now Im down to "_.jpg" in My Pictures..
