a 2 week flash job incorporating a .net project?
- Mick0
Scarey - I just finished a project and that was the initial brief flash front-end to a .net site (10 working days).
The project has just finished - 8 weeks later. I hope they have their act together :) Most .net developers don't know what's needed to make the flash work so be careful and quote time and materials with lots of room for expansion.

a fair price where ur getting a decent pay and their not getting ripped off - £2500 - u suggested the .net framework you or the clients?

two weeks I would ask for nearly 6 to 7K. I'm serious, especially with .Net

sorry for the delay...
the .net suggestion was theirs... i'm not particularly familiar with .net integration as opposed to xml or php calls... is this something i should be dreading?

oh ...and yeah, It's different than vbscript ASP development.

personally, i can't stand .net.
use php or asp if you can.however, if you're building cookie-cutter web-apps like insurance calculators, or web services tools, it will get the job done quick. it's a lot of drag and drop and does a ton of coding behind the scenes, so if you're a coding purist, you may find this frustrating.

dreamwaeaver is a lot of drag and drop for CF, PHP, ASP, and .NET no?
No matter what language you code in you always have drag and drop options.
.Net is sweet by the way.

never used dreamweaver either... i'm sure it's dandy though.
- Mimio0
.NET is sweet, but it can be really a really expensive licensing model if you're using DTS and multiple MS SQL databases.

Dreamweaver is a great editor. The active linking and language support is really nice for asp, php css etc.
