So he lied then, no?

Brigman,
Scroll up and read what you typed.
It's totally incorrect. Sorry you forced me to point that out.
- Brigman0
"Bringman. don't presume that if one opposes the US foreign policy one automatically supports that of the French or Germans. As far as I know the Freance conservatives are under pressure politically. jeez"
Thank you. I apologize if I have.

Mimio what was incorrect exactly?
- Brigman0
"So he lied then, no?"
Yes!
The question I have is why France hasn't told the turth and said the real reason they oppose the war. That is very frustrating.

Brig, That is the most impeachable offense in the world. I don't want to hear another fucking word about him having integrity or being a christian.
THOU SHALT NOT LIE!
That's still one of the commandmants, right?
- Mimio0
1)About the UN believing Iraq had WMDs.
2)Actually you were incorrect about Clinton declaring as well. He never made a formal declaration with NATO against Milsovich.

--------------Be prepared to impeach all world leaders. Come now mrdobolina I know you don't think the rest of the world leaders are innocent. Jacques Chirac would benefit the most had this war never happened. Why on earth would you not wish for his impeachment before Bush is beyond me.
- mrdobolina0
because he is not the leader of my country.
- brandelec0
i'm just buggin' sorry 'bout that, just wanted to dish out some smiles around
- mrdobolina0

Why Kerry?
Forget WMD and false pretenses - what's been said and done is just that...said and done.
Right now, Iraq is a mess...
And it's in my opinion that the best way to get the rebuilding of Iraq back on track is to get the UN involved. Iraqs have no faith or trust in the US - rightfully so - and as long as that's the case, and as long as Bush insists on doing it alone, I don't see things getting better there anytime soon,Please don't make the decision for Kerry about oil, euros, or nuclear weapons. Make the decision based on what you think is the best solution to this disaster that we, as Americans, made happen. Bush is not a part of that solution.

Mimio I need to request you run a search prior to the US declaration of war on Iraq. You are mistaken. The UN agreed he had WMD's. Everyone did. Nobody (even today ) would deny it so your argument is null. Sorry to disappoint you. The argument is not the WMD's. You must read these threads and some articles from various sources a little more.
I don't mean to sound hasty or rude but you really are incorrectly informed. This isn't hidden information.

if i were there, i would've bought you a drink 5 mins ago mrdob.
cheers mate

Brigman,
If the UN believed or actually had that Iraq had WMDs why wouldn't they find Iraq in breach of 1441? Why would they send in UN inspection teams? Why would Hans Blix and other inspectors say they Didn't have WMDs?
- xaoscontrol0
In an interview with Bill O'Reilly, Hans Blitz agreed that force should be taken with Iraq but, like the UN wanted to allow more time to inspect. Bush was getting hasty.
Also stated by Blitz: they did find traces of Anthrax but the amount could not be determined because it was diluted in the sand.
Keeping in mind the thoughts regarding maintaining the value of the Doller vs. Euro and the rest of the world currancy, I doubt the public (any nation for that matter) would take too kindly to "we're going in to Iraq in an effort to help keep the value of the doller up".
However...the US is in a bad spot right now. We can't leave Iraq the way it is. It still needs a government and a level of order. We leave now, it would be like putting out a a fire partially and allowing the residents to move in....whats the chance of the fire starting up again?
Nobody seems to talk much about the mass grave sites theyve found...or all of the school teachers that were out of work when Sadam was in power and are now earning a living.
