I've seen that scripty typeface a hundred billion times. The only thing you might be able to work with is the new graphic, the sunrise swoosh. 'Homes' is way too spacey, too. I'd say to just keep trying, and we'll keep helping.

hmm.. you have seen that font hundreds of times.. i haven't.. I'm sure it won't matter to my client, cuz i'm sure that he hasn't seen it. as for the homes.. yes i think i need to tighten it up .. but at the same time it creates a nice wide stance as to say that the homes are sturdy.

BlueMan- I have to say I would start over, BUT, if you do go with this at least consider this:
It's super-cheesey to have your script font not even connect between letters. Also, the swoosh is too small to be recognizeable on a bus. card, ad, etc. Also, I would tighten up home 1000% and put it on one side, balance out the swoosh with another.

3c how about making the orange thing go over the whole of the words starting and finishing at the baseline of 'homes' (reduce the letter size of this word too, but leave the kerning)
it could create a kind of sunset / roof (house) thang going on – alternatively, it could look really shite and heavy.
ps the font's a little bit honking!

maybe you should just experiment with different script typefaces but keep the orange swoosh for now and post those
and then we can take a look again.
but i do think this typeface is better than the other one.
doesn't bother that much but there may be a nicer one out there
