I just love how I can read "Kirk Kameron" and "future website needs" all in a few sentences.
There's something poetic and totally hilarious about it.

Celebrities always find G-D in the mirror once the coke clears.

"I'm glad that this site is representing the true gospel of Christ."
fuck that shit.
it only spreads fear, saying if you don't follow the ten deadly commandments as tight as this shite expects you too you will rot in hell.
but not before i have enjoyed my bohemian atheist pleasures here first.
hot dammit.

I remember a particular episode of Growing Pains where Mike Seaver had a flat tire on his car, or school problems, or girl or acting problems, and they were all about to cave in on him and he raised his hands skyward and shouted
"Give me a reason to live! Please!"I'm certainly glad that Mike Seaver found his calling.

Dutchboy - had you watched the entire presentation, you would have seen how they are showing that the 10 commandments cannot save a person. But instead, that they were designed to show us our spiritual bankruptcy and therefore point us to the free gift of eternal life in the person of Jesus - that cannot be earned. That is what that presentation was showing.

froww, do that 'good person' test with the ten commandments.
i am guilty on 10 counts.
and will remain so until i hit the wooden box to have my long sleep 6ft under.
this test's text makes you feel that any sin is bad and they call you names like blasphemer and what not.
i am glad i escaped that whole sectarian shite when i was younger.
long live sane humanity, and fuck those hypocrits and their sick stories about the wrath of god and whatever nonsense they'd love to share in the name of religious know-all arrogance.
my 2c.
- froww0
We've all broken the commandments. And I'm sure these people are no more hypocrites than you and me. It is because of our sin and hypocricy that Christ came. And it is because we cannot meet God's perfect standard that all punishment was deferred on to Christ at the cross... instead of on to you and me. Now we're offered a free gift... one just needs to reach out and accept it.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[ 6:23 Or through] Christ Jesus our Lord. "

hmm...that's the first religious-scented post of yours I have ever connected to froww....

Exactly Dutchboy!
foww, the only thing that site is doing is trying to SCARE weak minded people into being their minions. That intro says if you don't put your love for God 1st before your love for family etc...YOU ARE GOING TO HELL. "Your love for your parents, brothers, sisters and friends, even your own life is like HATRED compared to the love for GOD" WHAT? This is comparing normal human emotion to the likes of MURDERS and RAPISTS. If we feel lust WE ARE GOING TO HELL. Of course we are, we are all going to hell for natural human nature....so I guess we better believe. Then it goes on to describe what hell is like....OMFG! Are you kidding me? Oops...blasphemy, I guess I better believe in this foolishness so I don't spend the rest of my life in fire and brimstone, eternal darkness and be committed to weeping and gnashing of teeth....Who really believes in this? It's nothing but a scare tactic. "Does the fact that you've sinned scare you? It should. You have actually angered him by your sin."
- Mimio0
Take yourself out of the cosmic penalty box Froww.
This false dilemma that most religions propose is purely for the function of controlling people's behaviour. Besides it's fundamentally corrupt to pretend that love tempered by hate and destruction is the universal order.
