when i walk the streets of Antwerp i see a fair share of posters that make you think.. while the sober Dutch designer usually lays a poster out by the rules of sober clear communication.
that's why i like living close to both.. can't say i disagree with either of both design cultures.
anyway, about this poster, i thought the same, not very clear.. but the design is interesting enough to take your time to look a lil' deeper.

yep, neuarmy, it just reminded me that "the roots" cover.
Neat, but there's a lot of irrelevant information and the most important info is kinda too bright at the top.

Beautiful but a little too obscure for a local. It took me awhile to get the info and your design lab's signature is as big as the club's name and some of the band names which I think is a little weird. Nice concept and execution on an artistic level though...

Thanks, for your comments, like I said the info on the inside is for the cats that like to look and the top is for the lazy fat cats, all I can say is that the client loved it and I do too! Oh and during the course of designing this I didn't look at the Roots album cover once ... honest. I'm cool with a couple of em and would not bite. Anywho, thanks again for your comments...I'm still waiting for Tara Gee my wife to Bee.

And that's like me saying Kodap that a lot of your stuff looks like Niko Stumpo, you want your stuff criticized for the work completed not what it reminds you of...me too ,because besides the use of two totally different heads dealing with Phrenology our concepts are different. oh and I give it a 4 out of 5...personally.

The info's at the top for the retards. The inside is not supposed to reveil it's content so easily, your supposed to look and mentally piece it together...but if you're brain lazy low and behold easy access info at the top. I don't know why it doesn't work as a poster to you guys it does all the things a poster is supposed to, just not easily. If you want your info just handed to you then this poster isn't for you but as and artist and designer I need to challenge myself by taking jobs like this conventional is okay sometimes but so is unconventional.

I work in philly and also freelance(I run a co. with my homie Sean, we do alot of the dope shit you see around center city, lots of flyer and poster for clubs, bands, restaubars...you know.)
