column widths (just like the peter beavis site) are too long. logo looks like you just typed it in and left it at your default font. apart from that, I like the feel.

yeah it's got a bit of the western influence...started out last night at home completely different but by the wee hours of the morning it kinda had that look and feel...

nice and clean but I think it makes you look a little more middle of the road than perhaps you should, the mix of the colours and the type youre using for the headers just looks a little too 'old', actually, it looks middle-american heheh.

perhaps I should say - this portfolio is meant to appeal to the everyday person. I personally don't have a problem with http://pixel.jevad.com - but that was done to get agency work and showcase my portfolio more than anything else.
I'm trying to drum up freelance work here in Denver and so I need something that is pretty generic and not too swish...that can appeal to a wide audience without overwhelming them...

i like it, but i think you should do away with the faded in mountain thing at the top? I think it would make it look a little cleaner with just a solid block?

I'd probably have to muck about with it to get it right (maybe even breaking it into 2 columns but increase the left indent to the left edge of the 'about me' button bring the right hand side back to line with the vertical line after the next button. Doesn't have to fill the space or span the whole width of the menu does it?

crit: It looks exactly how you say you want it. One thing I always like to see with sites with similar goals - is to have just one contrasting color. Even if it is the text color - just one little highlight to hold interest.
