Well, you fly into Mexico and Mexican airlines go in there directly.

One of my friend's parents have a sailboat in Bostn and they have sailed to Cuba a couple times.
I'd have him chime in here but he's not had electricity in his apartment for several weeks now.
That's another story though.

Do you know how to swim? and don't forget to put your password in a waterproof container that can also be visible from a coastguard boat.

It's too dangerous, Carlos. Take your lady friend to the FL Keys instead. Go snorkling & lay out in the sand.

FLA>BAHAMAS>HAVANA

It's not that dangerous. I've done some basic research and it seems very feasable. Also, I wouldn't subject one of my lady friends to such conditions. But thanks for the suggestion.
Oh yeah, why would go to Florida, there's no communist there.

Although the US Government frowns upon going, you can do it. My friends have either flown in from Montreal, Quebec or as I did got a visa from the Cuban Embassy while I was in South West Africa (Namibia). I just spoke Espanol with them and they were like, just be careful. I flew in from Madrid, Spain as there are no commercial flights from the US. I went to Havana and travelled all the way down to the Santiago region. Interesting to see the city life and the former slave trade ports. Nice food, nice women, nice people. Very much like Africa but on an island. Make sure you know a little Espanol at any rate. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/maps… :)

wow, that sounds like quite the adventure jazx. my wife is cuban, and most of her relatives reccomend the madrid route...though i imagine that going through mexico, or bahamas would be cheaper. thanks.

right tny, that's true, I was meeting a buddy of mine there and was on my way back from Namibia. I lived in Souther Africa for 4 years. Fun time, love the women, Cubans are a lot like African IMO. :)

go to Angola, very similar nature to Cuba and Namibia and Angola are good pals with Fidel Castro. They used to throw parades for him in Namibia. Quite a crazy time. During the white dominance, many Africans went into exile in places like Cuba. pretty interesting sh*t.
