i like the comparison to Wim Crowel, it's very lo-fi, or 8-Bit as mentioned before, good descriptions. Their work is pretty sweet actually..

well its fake modernism.
in modernism the designer is 'a slave' to the grid,function and client.the faceless facilitator.
but the funny thing is that postmodern graphic design is now using this modernistic style to advertise them as authors.
due to postmodernism we all want be be authors..the designer as a personality
what michal c place(and we all do) is create an aura around the profession graphic designer.wich is funny because the idea behind this style that you are not an author..you just but yourself in place in the client and the aqssignemet..no personal idea..hence the name fake modernism.

you boys are not studying enough nor reading properly what build or neubau means. it's really an effort to advance inside swiss constructivism.

Yeah, the thread kind of lost it's point. Although "Swiss Constructivism" came out of it, and that's the kind of label I was looking for to apply to it.

sorry tank. you know this thread thing can be very unfair. the point is, you're quite correct. more, you are very very keen. what is happening now with design is happening since 1800's from poetry, literature, painting and even science. Romanticism. Authorship. and that's good, as far as i know. it has given us such pleasure, such beauty that one has only to pity that making drawings (that's what it is) is becoming more and more related to money-making and not to the pleasure of the work itself. that's what we can criticize in desing: the point when we lower our pants. i'm not keen to it. me's givin' a fight godammit!
fightings are also good between ourselves. they make us think. they make our blood run wild! they make all this thread shit worthwhile.
