What program(s) do you use to create and manage your invoices?

For myself, I just made a quark file, turned to PDF with fields to edit, but at work they use quicken.

filemaker pro

I usually use Freehand and export as a PDF, but I'd like something that updates automatically (like the invoice number and crap like that) and keeps some sort of database.

No other suggestions?

MS Word -> .PDF

I'd like the program to keep a database of invoices and update things like invoice number automatically.

Filemaker Pro is your best bet

I was also wondering about this. I started out creating it in illustrator to look pretty, then realized it was a pain in the ass to update and send.

You can't beat quickbooks pro. It will keep track of all your invoices, bank account, and much much more. Been using it myself for a few years now.
Whats great is it lets you track how your doing month by month, year by year, etc. That way you can see what you were doing last year compared to this year, etc.
Plus it runs great on Macs.

Also..check out instant invoice v.3 ..it's pretty dope..kinda like a scaled down Quickbooks Pro, but that's all I need.. invoices / tracking / reporting / etc.
