They should have just charged everyone $17.50 to see one coherent 3.5 hour movie.

kill bill haters? i just don't get this thread. who cares? some people like it, some don't, some think it'so so. it's a frekkin' movie. it all boils down to personal taste. everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but i wouldn't go about calling people morons if they say they don't like it.
i'm on the so so side. i like tarantino's stuff but this is just not it. and it really bummed me out that he splitted the movie in 2. a) it kills the story (by the time i see part 2 i've totally forgot what it's about) and b) i have to pay twice the theatre.

hey connorreah...right on about the reading bit. like this thread already has 14 posts when the thread i started about a book got 9. maybe they don't give a damn about that book, and that's fine...it just always seems to be this way.
typical and sad.

i think it's funny that most people forget this IS ONE MOVIE cut into 2 parts because of time constraints. there is no point in comparing the 2 to each other. and everyone dumb enough to post about how transparent and one dimensional the characters are need to watch all the movies THIS WAS A TRIBUTE TO. it's an homage. the characters are portrayed this way for a reason. i think it's sad how the actual depth of this film is lost on most people.

scarabin - like i was saying about that magical lost art we call "reading". i never said the film was good because it drops references to other old school films. i just said it's lost on most people which i find sad because you do miss something when you don't catch what it's nodding to.

Personally, I loved it, and I will always enjoy watching it, it's fun stuff. Tarantino is a great director, and even for the haters, at least he has a style that you can tell is his, which is lacking these days. He has even made it clear as to his influences, which is pretty good of him, he isn't claiming its all new stuff.
As for if Kill Bill is the best film ever? Probably not, that particular title would go to Fight Club for me, but that is just me... Different strokes for different folks, as was said before, you like what you like, it doesn't really matter, it's only a movie... or something like that... I'll shut up now.

It's not that we hate it, it's just that it wasn't that good.
I came out thinking, well not much actually. And that's not good.
