i think it's funny that most people forget this IS ONE MOVIE cut into 2 parts because of time constraints. there is no point in comparing the 2 to each other. and everyone dumb enough to post about how transparent and one dimensional the characters are need to watch all the movies THIS WAS A TRIBUTE TO. it's an homage. the characters are portrayed this way for a reason. i think it's sad how the actual depth of this film is lost on most people.

I think there is people that dont believe on the hype that is created everytime a movie comes up..I think the first movie was good, I dont think it was the best movie of all time like most of you..
I dont believe on the hype, thats all..I look forward to see how it ends though..

Tarantino is more of a film anthropologist, than a director consumed with capturing a vision.
That is - if you even care to look deeper into his films.
I prefer them at face value. It's kinda like watching a film where you actually get the directors inside joke.

And it's not stictly true that it is one movie split into two... otherwie they would of taken one cut and spliced as it is the second part has been re-edited in reaction to the first part.

i never mentioned this was one of the greatest movies of all time. i'll gladly agree it wasn't all that special. the only thing that bothers me is what ignorant people complain about.
