hi all, thanks to NT's talk at semi permanent im here now too, what a clever couple of chaps. SP was pretty damn good, besides NT, mk12, lobo, phunk studios and graphic havoc blew my whistle alright...and that brad pitt clone is some host on foxtel, alex someone? wonder how much they paid to get him there, i would have done it, and had more personality than a flea.

hi y'all, another sydneysider.
also went to semi-permanent, and as i expected it was fantastic. motion design gets me so hott, im so wishing i could do it.

'and that brad pitt clone is some host on foxtel, alex someone?'....did you like how even Vince Frost had a go at that dickhead?
- XC010
that guy tried to hurry Vince Frost along.
he called him beckham didn't he?
- XC010
i wanna work for bob from diesel. :(
- Axel0
heh, bob from diesel is most hep. im sure it would be a pretty interesting job.
and yeah, vince did lay the beckham tag down on that guy,... and he wasnt the first. the people that i went with were thinking the very same thing,... the second we saw him.
did you guys like the book we got in the kit?
- XC010
it looks ok, i have only really flicked through it though
- Axel0
oh, excuse my being new, .... but are there many other australians/sydney'ians that post here?
- SF20
Hey i'm aussie, and reading the posts here, makes me wish i didnt miss semi permanent
- Axel0
i mean seriously, it was a 'who has the most expensive jeans comparison pary' for the 2 days, but if you put the dickheads and the showoffs out of your mind, .... its a really good opportunity to hear and see the work of people who are enjoying what they are doing.
ps. did anyone go to the afterparty? apparently it was at the opera bar.
- Axel0
and come to think of it, the chick from Mill fucked up, by introducing the 'Mental Wealth' ad with Fifi, the alien girl as being directed by Frank Budgen as well,.... this is so wrong.
Chris Cunningham people.
he did it.
- XC010
how did you remember that?
- 245kid0
graphic havoc guys seemed pretentious. newstoday dudes were rad.
- XC010
I met Jason and Folkert from NT, they were cool guys too.
The phunk studio guys did a good presentation.
I like how graphic havoc told a client to fuck off, and they came back. who does that?

'how did you remember that?'something seemed not quite right when she said it,... so when i went home, i checked my torn out page of the D&AD annual pasted on my wall,.....profiling the work, and lo and behold Director: Chris Cunnigham
hes a hero
how could she forget him?as for pretentiousness, ThisIsAMagazine people bugged the shit out of me for a full 30mins, but then once i got what their thing was- i didnt mind them. those two are way screwed up.
- Axel0
was Folkert not wearing shoes?
- tshongi0
yes. He wasn't.
Anyone go to the after party? or was it just for the elitest crowd?
I think they shouldhave a venue so that all can mix a bit and let the general people know about it who attend the show.
