Sorry...I have to get this off my chest. I know someone will be offended but...what can I do about that? Nothing.
I think this whole 9/11 hearing thing is just stupid. I heard a lady come out last week after C. Rice had her testimony and say "we (the families of the victims) are not going to be satisfied untill somone is held accountable for the 9/11 attacks". WTF?
What happend was terrible. No doubt about it. Clearly there are all sorts of points that contributed to the untimely demise. Agencies wouldn't share info because they all wanted the credit for taking down the bad guy. Is that either Bush or Clinton's fault or the fault of their administrations? I think not.
Who committed the acts? The terrorists. The families all suffered great losses. You can't compensate for the loss of a loved one with $$, sorry. I just have a hard time understanding why more anguish has to be brought up for those that have suffered to endure.

Personally, I think it's an Ad.
Basically, an attempt to keep our collective pecker hard for the 'war on terrorism.'
And why not

ya.. that whole trial thing is lame for both sides

Propaganda, pure and simple. Actually it's probably more of a diversionary tactic. Keeping your attention away from the real problem.

oooh yes look - all the little bush-ites chirping in their conspiracy theories...face it you chumps - the FBI, the CIA and the Bush Administration collectively FUCKED UP and missed several chances to pick up key members of the suicide squads...
God your ignorance is incredulous....

that sounds suspiciously like the sort of cloud-like rhetoric one might employ to avoid actually stating your opinion guilt001. so what is the real problem?
sorry i know you probably have an opinion please excuse me i'm quite drunk

What's the real problem vespa?
The real problem is that any human is allowed to rule over another. Because, each "administration" is just another set of problems, in and of itself. The real problem is that despite some very eloquent promises, people continue to be let down by every political system. People continue to die and everyone turns around and says "who's going to pay for that!" When people should be looking around and saying, "Why do we stand for this?" Or even, "why does this happen in the first place (violence in the world)!?"
I'll never pledge my allegiance to any man on this earth. I'll never vote in hopes that the next president will "make some real changes". I'd walk up to any political leader and say "what's it feel like to be a pawn".
Politics is just bullshit with a pretty dress on...
- monkeyshine0
jevad for president!!!
- jevad0
Right now I'd vote for John Tesh if he were running monkey....

right on, gilt001.
they are all the same, its all a big game and the playing field is covered in lies and dog turds.
to me, politics is a lot like "reality tv" participants and career academics (i.e. 90% of college professors). the truly great and competent people aren't participating because they are out in the world actually doing something with their lives and being successful.
but i'm a cynic, maybe i'm wrong.
