At the risk of offending Xtians here, which I'm really not trying to do...I just saw 'born again' Xtian Stephen Baldwin on CNN pumping the above skate DVD that he has directed.
The twist?
It's a pro-Xtian movie and actively pushes Xtianity through the medium of skateboarding.
This makes me bloody sick to my stomach.
To me...one of the biggest and best things about skateboarding is it's individuality and it's anti-establishment roots.
Xtianity sells right Stephen? Career been a bit down in the dumps lately?

dude theres a church that is like a block from my house that has a sick mini-ramp but i refuse to skate it because they try to make you listen to a sermon and wear full pads on a four foot mini!

bet you can't guess how many 'born agains' you skate with on your lunch breaks...it would surprise you...buy, hey, i agree with what you are saying, and yet ironically, doing what Stephen is doing is just as along the lines of doing what you want in skateboarding as anything anyone might deem core, or true to the love of skating.....i guess there's got to be room for any form of expression if its true to the heart.....problem here is that he MAY be just cashing in on what he sees as an exploitable market...who knows tho
