im stuck in a catch-22, its like.. it bothers me, but then there is freedom of speech which i am strongly for, and dont think it should be violated.. but isnt there a line sometimes? im from NY originally when 9-11 happened.. maybe thats why im alittle sensitive to it.

i don't think that book plays any role in global terrorism. it is more likely to give some kids bad ideas that lead to an eye getting poked out

it a taunting invite for some jackass to blow something or someone up... why even release shit like that. its a book of f'ed up ideas on how to hurt other people....

Yeah, but look at Islamic youth radicals. Take a fairly harmless book, and they are learning a little more than eye-poking.
The book isn't going to turn anyone into a monster. But it sure will help. Especially when coupled with a shitty role model.

well put and agreed. its like suggestive advertising.

I feel so damned sorry for those kids who are learning that they have to kill people to validate their religion.

I realize that someone could miscontrue that previous statement to mean Arab OR American children, but I only mean the former.
American kids at least get the ability to grow up and decide for themselves. Kids in the Middle-East only have schooling available under ultra-fanatic control.
We should be thankful that we are able to try and differentiate between good and evil.

Mr Jump made the most valid point so far.
