ok moral question...go!
you get your paycheck stub this week and you look and OH MY it's a bonus of 1000 bucks! hot dog! you think what did i do to deserve this, in my case i work my ASSS off for the company. in the past week i have voiced to the bosses that more money would help.
now here is the twist, the bosses being jewish (no offense) don't like to budge with money unless it's well spent, also when they do give you money they like to tell you "hey , see we are hooking you up, see we are nice people" BUT this time, nothing has been said,
Should i bring it up by saying, hey guys i think there is a mistake in my check and risk losing the bonus on account of paycheck lady error? Should i say "hey guys, thanks for that bonus, it's really great, i'm very happy, and still risk losing it because of possible paycheck lady mistake, OR should i just take and SHUSH about it and think "my bosses are great people, they listen to me."

now without wanting to get flamed for reacting to this stereotype but I used to have a jewish woman boss (she owned teh business) and she was a nice person like when you would see her with friends but with business, she was a bitch, she took so long bartering to buy a g3 that the day she got it the g4's came out, no shit!!
Anyway, she would give me bonusses occasionally when she detected my growing resentment of the job but it seemed to me like she got such a kick from doing it - "oohoo my good deed for the day, or year maybe hmm.." and she would constantly bring it up as if she was buying your peace or your soul or something. I took the bonus, made sure she paid me all the holiday pay I was owed and got the fuck outta there, nightmare it was.
What I would do is be really pleased and appreciative, talk really fast (sitcom style, they cant get a word in) and stell them as soon as you got it you paid off some bad debt that was really beginning to worry you, they'll rather take the pleasure of giving than having to take it off you.

It's not your money. It's not your bonus. It was a mistake. By taking it, you will be taking money that is not yours. Taking money that is not yours is stealing. Stealing is wrong.
Eventually it will catch up to you, they won't call it stealing but it will get you a raised eyebrow forever.
If you want more money be a man or a woman, get some Moxie and ask directly for it, don't be a wuss and start playing on stereotypes of cheap jews, they're just being business people.If you don't get paid enopugh quit and start your own company.

i meant no offense, trust me. i love everyone. my bosses are the coolest guys i've worked with to date.
but how can someone make a mistake like that?
