frutiyloops has some good plugins, but like most computer based apps, its lacks UMPH

if you can't make a decent beat in reason, you wouldn't need an MPC
but here I come to the rescue

I'm doin' some shit with reason. I like that software.
- jankin0
... and maybe this can help.

The RedRum has always worked nicely for me, maybe you just need some fresh refills. The Reason mixer can be a little awkward, maybe you could try ReWire into whatever other software you've got, to tweak out the mix.

sweet, thanks for that linkage people ill have a read
nice beats jankin :)

reason should have what you need.
33 is hot Jankin.

thank you guys! :)

some really noice stuff, jankin. all done on reason?
- blackspade0
where can i score some refills for reason like what youve used, p2p ? did you purchase em ?
- jankin0
Well, it's all done in reason and recycle.
This aren't any refills. I've sampled the sounds from cd's, vinyl and other media.
- blackspade0
oh ok sweet, thats what ive been doing as well
- jankin0
Yeah, it's hard work but better than taking a cd with finished samples and just plug 'em together.

don't buy an mpc. it is a huge wasite of money. if you want to program beats get yourself a good bit of sequencing software s/a Logic or Digital Performer and Native Instruments Battery. http://www.nativeinstruments.de/…
does what an MPC does but like 500 times better. MPC has been glamorized in the hip-hop world but people who write the sickest beats don't fuck around with the MPC.

Nice Jankin!
Got some dope beats on there, I like Beat 30 a lot, got that old soul type of flavour over it! Keep it going man...

There actualy alot of forums on this topic but mostly they are clottered with posts that say:
Check out my dope beats
Buy my dope beats
or
This beat is wack/sucks
That and alot of noninformative hardware discussions.
Thats my experience, anyone sitting on nice links to "beatforums" that dont suck?
