I'm building a home office and I am having a hard time finding a nice desk. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, I've got the Jerker in birch laminate, and have never been happier with a desk for 79 bones.....

a couple of those collapsable orange metal sawhorses and an old door.
i had an ikea desk and hated it.
i love my door.

Doors can be cool, but once you buy the door and the saw horses, you're already above the 79$ desk thats sturdier than the door and the sawhorses....

D-Dot... I have seen that EQ3 desk in person. Kinda shakey. I hate shakey desks.

i have 2 of the Ikea Jerker basic models in an L shape.
i think they wer elike 67 each or something.

before these i rocked the basic ikea wood slab with the legs you buy seperate. it bent in the middle.
the jerker desks have metal reinforcement if no one above mentioned it. theyre ACE especially if you got a few monitors goin or whatever

I see what your saying about the stainless steel tables, but where do you put your legs?

They make some other stainless steel tables that do not have the shelf.. sort of open around the bottom with tubular braces around the bottom.. quick search.. i will see if i can find what i am talking about.. though i have seen people use the ones with the shelves.. nice place to rest your feet.. might get annoying after awhile though..
