OK
A) go to MACBA and CCCB for wicked art shows and to watch all the skate boys fuck around with some serious architecture.
B) Barri Gotic is good wander. Nice bars in El Born.
C) Go eat some fish along the port - whitebait rocks.
D) Do NOT leave lunch late on a Sunday - i once stupidly walked from Gaudi catherdral all the way to the Gaudi park and couldnt find food ANYWHERE
E) take a train outside of Barcelona and visit Girona, so gorgeous. Like some mini spanish Venice. Only about 40 mins outside. (and near the brilliant Dali museum in Figures)

use the dB here, there are tons of threads on Barcelona. That might save you time and trouble. :) When I was there I stayed for two months in the Las Ramblas Calle in town, near the shore. ?Habla Espanol? ?Un poco?

I remember hanging out in Barcelona in '99. I ate at some restaurant recommended in Lets Go (the travel Bible) like 5 times. It was right on the Ramblas, but I dont remember the name. It had a one price menu...
that city is cool!

Among so many things...I just remember being really drunk at this amazing tapas place in Bario Chino with some friends and soaking up the local flavour. Probably the best two weeks I've had on vacation in years.
