mysql db transfer

  i have a mysql datebase set up by my current host...that host a Forum, can i move it to a new host woth out loseing all of my users data.... any one ever do this...

  the thing is i know nothing about mysql or phpmyadmin, the db was free and free setup, i set up phpbb very easy...but now its getting big and i need a better server..hmm thanks for the leads though
