I don't mean to attack this guy or mistreat/dismiss him in any way, just asking for help on how to deal with him/getting to know a weird coder (obviously, not that all of you coders are all the same for me, I respect your work, but be true to yourself and accept the fact that it's plenty of wacky ones out there).

I've done nothing until now, that's way I really appreciate all your feedback. It helps me dealing with the dandruff and the pikachu-like co-worker in front of me.

ok, this may not apply to this situation at all, but once I was in a situation similar to this and I regret to this day that I didn't give this person a chance earlier as he turned out to be one of the nicest people I've known.
I'm not saying this is necessarily the case here,
I can't know what this situation is like, but keep that in mind, I know I always do nowadays.

no need him as an excuse to come out...done that for years now.
the dandruff, the lack of style (includes hygiene habits) and the rare way of speaking still remains despite you are paying attention to my gadgets.

Designer I think, maybe you outta make your own weird sounds and show off some of your weird stuff. I am sure you have them :)
This way you feel you are in a balanced environment. But if you think he is not worthy of your presence and or communication with him, I suggest you pursue self-help books. :)
Anyways, everybody changes, i am sure the coder will eventually knowest when he has too much dandruff and or maybe when you start typing louder than him.
