3D Stroke?

Anyone know they achieve the 3D Stroke effect on the Brand New School reel? I'm assuming the Trapcode 3D Stroke plugin, but I've tried and I can't even come close....
Any AE experts in here?

it looks as though that rainbow was made in a 3D app. i could be wrong though.

I mean it's simple, almost done in illustrator, but the way the camera moves with it and it's dimension... idk...
anyone else have ideas??

I think it's done in a 3D app too...

First of all, it's a lot easier to do in a 3D app such as Maya than composite with Illustrator and AE.

rasko4 is right, in everyone 23409 years at 12:00 CET this act of nature occurs... youll need a protone camera to see it though.
for all other days use a 3d app.

That was some fantastic work by Brand New School. Of course, it was 3D.
3D Stroke is great, but that doesn't give you that much control.
