Mine's great (15" PB G4 550mhz), only wish I had the newer version with the bigger screen res, 1152 x 768 is a bit small.
Get a decent bag for it and you'll be set. Some nice ones here... http://www.burton.com/gravis/gea…

Don't drop it. I'm looking at £600 for case repair after it fell off airport security x-ray table in rucksack...

Waiting for my 1GHz 17"er, should get it next Tues/Wed.

17's are way to big to lug around.
i've got a 15.2 and i can tolerate the res when i do print work. ;d

17" is too large imho...those i know who have it end up using it like a desktop...not much traveling...it doesnt fit in a bag easily...
make sure to get some sort of protective piece to put between your keyboard and the screen when you shut it...my g3 powerbook screen is pretty fucked from not having one...
also get one of these mice:

http://www.kensington.com/html/1…these bags rule...you can send them a sketch for pockets as well as artwork to incorporate and they will make a custom one for you:

dont get a fancy laptop bag, get a protective sleeve and slip you laptop into a normal bag...
as it doesnt shout "please steal 2 grands worth of mac of me" quite as loudly

i've had a tibook 500mhz with the 15" since it came out almost two years ago.
one hell of a computer.
very, very reliable.
runs multiple graphic apps beautifully.
it's paid for itself time and time again.....
and i've dropped it twice, no damage.

bargain. link?

make sure you dont carry it with the hinges at the bottom of the bag (as pictured in that last bag link)...it can eventually lead to breakage...
i got my sleeve for like 5 bucks...it was part of another bag that the buyer didnt realize and left it behind...score

compusa

actually that case is designed to carry a tibook.
it has a serious padding below the hinges and sits comfortably on it's side, or flat.
that might be a good suggestion, but i haven't had any trouble.2 years of carrying it back forth from work everyday.
trust me.

get the 17" if you have a small penis, thats what i did. I feel much better now.
I have no problem carrying 17" ;)
