Shit, that totally blows, I'm so sorry.
My wife used to run a pet loss phone line at the vet school here, people often have a lot of questions, esp when the loss is sudden. They're a good bunch of people, site needs help tho ;)

i'm sorry to hear that news;
but you couldn't have helped it or predicted it...of course you would have wanted to bring the "whole family" with you so you just have to not beat yourself up over it.the loss is hard-no doubt...just try and think of the good memories, and how lucky you were to have had the cat for as long as you did

Damn, really sorry to hear that :( I have four kitties myself, so I understand how you feel. They're not just animals, they become another member of the family. That's why I hate with all my guts people who abandon animals, they deserve not only jail, but death.
