What are your thoughts. Yes, I have extremely tight boundaries to work within. You will see, this is but a sample.
I appreciate your thoughts.

Is this for an internal organization at Harvard? I'm curious why you chose that specific size of the white box. What happens when there is more content (or less) than the perfectly measured text you have?
It's a good start but there's something missing, flat about it...maybe extend the box all the way down?
Is that "admin" text clickable? If so, why isn't it up in the nav bar to the right? It's just hanging there.
Maybe you could work on the nav a little more...it needs some spicing up...the High Tech & New Media Club could be more interesting too. It needs some sexiness somehow.
Good luck.

I agree, looks like a good start, but needs something extra for a little bite.
Maybe small icons? Or do something with the High tech and new... header
good luck

Thanks folks.
This is but a start and every time I submit a sketch, they gravitate to the "less is more." In addition, there is a very small amount of content which I have found to be quite limiting to the development.

the font you chose for "high tech & new media club" is arresting the design. that alone needs to tell the viewer what the site is about. high tech and new media contradict a classic serif font.
i don't necessarily think this is about content limitations - but what you're doing with the content you have.
the only element you have currently that says high tech is the gradient. that is being neutralized by the big white box you've placed on top of it. and the fonts and how you've arranged them.
it would help us if we knew exactly what the site was for.
hope this helps :)
