As long as it takes for them to figure out the cooling issue. They had to put 5 fans in the G5s. They also want to keep the 1" thickness. No time soon.

looks like I'll get a nice 15" pb then, even the rumor sites say its a while off.. if it comes out a couple week after I'll cry

dont know if it will be g5's, but the next bump should be before may. they update powerbooks in 9 month cycles (roughly) and the last ones came out last september.

the g4 desktop was released in Sept 1999.
and the g4 powerbook was released in Jan 2001.took them over a year with the g4.

It only took them 5 months to get the G5 into the XServe.
