Did you noticed that all the successful people, especially singers, actors, producers and directors have been doing what they do since the age of 6 or so.
Anybody heard of somebody who's successful who just started out?
I haven't

I'm looking for hope, every successful person's bio states that they started at an early age doing what they do.
Let's be honest here, people rather see somebody succeed who've been hustling since the early days than somebody who slacked most of their times and just got lucky with one movie for example.
what's up with that?

I think it also means to bump your snowboard into or onto something. Not sure which Jox meant though. If he has been bumbing his snowboard into things from that early age he must be really good at it now.
