I know no one needs 16G of ram my point is 64bit can support more then 2G of Ram don't go over 2G cause windows and 32bit cpus don't support it unless they have 64bit support. There is no need for 2G of ram 1G is enough. Ther ewere points in my text.

Why not just dual boot. Anyway you don't know what your talking about, you don't know anything about longhorn stop pretending you know what your talking about you havn't even tested alphas. Don't go up reading now to impress me.....WinFS will OWN, Avalon will OWN icons will be vector unlike mac which are images Longhorn icons will be able to size in any size with great resolution... the side bar is GENIUS BRILLIANT Wide LCD screen users will love it your buddy list weather etc etc etc will be in there its amazing. You can make apps that go into it aswell. Longhorn is a REwrite of its API it will OWN the interface is innovative i mean there pretty much changing the way a window looks. Avalon will function much like Flash it will BE GREAT you will run it GUARANTEE. I gurantee youv never ran linux all you know is the Stability Security Hype but you yourself don't know or have run it.

we'll never see longhorn anyway, not after judgement day, we gotta stop skynet from going online!

I agree! but just thought id mention how the PC will change dramatically in the next 2 years. But yes I Agree don't wait if you can't If you really need a update go for it im just trying to give you more advice suggestiosn.

i love to collect them..

i'm sorry what was that? :)
Both Gnome and KDE support vector icons in linux. Linux has at least 3 filesystems that have the same features as WinFS. The longhorn sidebar is a complete ripoff of linux sidebars, linux has had multiple desktops and sidebar applets for years, and guess waht, now MS is "revolutionizing" your desktop experience with their "innovations". Avalon is a poor attempt at mimicking the Flash API. And.um.. I have 2 linux boxes at home and I dont claim that it's more stable. Actually, more oftent hat not, it's not. It's just more pleasant to use. I think it's you who's never used linux. So what are you talking about?
