Yeah, i wouldn't buy a car on finance, i've got an 1984 Capri 2.8i, cost me £1200

I'm not keen on the shape of new cars. I know they're areodynamic and everything, but look boring to me.

thats why I love the NBC...

The new Golf is really sweet. Test drove it about two months ago when it first got here and took the badass GTI TDi diesel for a spin. Ooh the torque and power!
The price, on the other hand, is pretty sick. It's still a small car, yet they charge as if it was a mid. luxury.

no finance here...

btw, Jevad - Really good choice with the 1.8T engine there. Those are superb! I like the color, too :) Suhweetah!

I know those vw's are good cars, i think they must be an aquired taste because i'm not keen.
I think the soft top looks better,Actually, i think the sides are too high on the beetle, they look dumpy.
I drove a hard top about 3 years ago. Felt solid and well made though. Something i'm not used to in my motoring history.

vw have come of age, the mark iv golf was a huge jump in comfort/extras from the mark iii.
looking forward to seeing the new combi

ha, people were picking on me when I bought a wagon, now everyone's excited about them :D
Although I must say, taking an m3 with a family car is very entertaining. >:)

No way about vw golf's. The mark 1 gti is the best golf ever as far as I'm concerned. One of the most entertaining cars I've ever driven. really responsive and exhilarating.

I think estate cars should only be allowed if they have wood panelling down the sides. I don't understand why you'd want to hop-up an estate, i really don't.

ive never understood why they make cars with wood on the outside.. i mean whats the point??
why drive something that looks like a park bench?
what happens if someone bumps into you? do you take it to a carpenter to get it buffed up or something?
- Blofeldt0
I don't understand it either but I love the pointlessness of it.
I once drove a 1958 Buick, in the leather on the dash was embossed scenes of cowboys and Indians fighting. That's class!
