Hey all,
I am looking for an app that is capable of creating sounds that could be generated by an old school video game.
I have already looked at gameboy sound emulation. .. and it is very confusing. I am looking for soemthing that has an ok interface where I can create these types of sounds.
This is for a project I am on where I have to create sounds for a game. . . and I want to give it an old school feel.
Any help would be sweet!
Thanks.

I think I can assist you here, I was looking for something else, but if you see this, let me know. Basically, there are tons and tons of those type of games' MIDI files out there. Especially the old school analog sounding ones. You could convert the MIDI file into .wav or .mp3 or import them into a soft synth and then export as .wav. It works quite well and you also steer away from using the exact copyrighted sound.

yuo could import those .mid files into Reason or Orion or even Fruity Loops I believe.
