I think I can assist you here, I was looking for something else, but if you see this, let me know. Basically, there are tons and tons of those type of games' MIDI files out there. Especially the old school analog sounding ones. You could convert the MIDI file into .wav or .mp3 or import them into a soft synth and then export as .wav. It works quite well and you also steer away from using the exact copyrighted sound.
