When I was a kid I loved MTV, but then I learnt that music isn't just style. Unfortunately, being what it is, MTV can't really do that.

MTV was the shit when i was in highschool and we first got cable! I remember the first wet dream I had of barely dressed teenage girls shaking their fannies on pounding techno music. Nowadays I listen to complicated music for complicated people, and I also don't have many wetdreams no more. So MTV is great for me? No, not very. Byoncé in a cockhat.

mtv started out as a channel that showed commercials for music interspersed by regular commercials and eventually turned into a channel that plays virtually no music anymore and drives home the point that america's teenagers grow increasingly retarded with each passing season.
