I don't get MTV 'cause I am in Canada but every Saturday afternoon MTV Canada is on for an hour and I think it stinks. It seems to be just the same as Much Music with a bit of a bigger budget.

Though it's fashionable to hate on MTV, you know just as well as I do that you all spend hours tuning in to this giant, corporate pop machine...it's a love/hate thing.
When I want to be entertained I watch MTV...when I want to learn, I watch PBS. Sorry to come to its defense...I'm a former hater myself...but the channel doesn't claim to be anything it's not.
