I am the Creative Director for a large corporation and we aree looking for possibly two freelance designers. one web design and the other graphic design.
Most work is production work.
All candidates must be able to work within corporate guidelines and be able to take direction well(You'd be suprised by the egos of some NTers).
Web Designer
- Must know how to create and edit web graphics using Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks (Adobe Illustrator is a bonus)- Must know HTML and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
Description: We have many websites that need to be maintained. Example: 50 images all the same size, put on a page and uploaded. It's basic web stuff and unfortunately not all that creative.
Graphic/Print Design
- must know Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop and unfortunately Powerpoint.- must be able to understand full-color printing.
Description: We are rebranding our company and will need a designer to edit from templates and create salessheets, inserts, binders, presentations, print ads and etc.
If everything goes well, these opportunities could be ongoing and we could offer a weekly retainer.

The "large corporation" bit is anything less of a selling point. Forget the fact that the position doesn't allow for creativity but now you have 100's of people telling you what to do.

ASP PHP XML C++ HTML FLASH PRINT ADVANCED ACTIONSCRIPTING DATABASES SQL ALL PROGRAMS and TECHNOLOGIES EVER MADE, Must be Able to Hack into FBIs Database, Must be able to Work 80 hours a week, must be able to Kiss your own ass.ETc.
