Hi Everybody,
Just curious if anyone living in NYC has a dog? If you do, what do you estimate your annual cost to be of having a dog in NYC? Also, any adoption societies you might suggest.

dont have a dog (hope to get a cat soon tho!) but i go to this place BARC and pet the cats all the time. they are a great place, u should buy a dog from there

no there is tons of grass -
oh THAT kind of grass - eh heh ... seriously east river park
-central park - west side i'm not sure about ...battery park ...
there are many parks in manhattan

Thanks for the pictures, links, and money info. As a grad student, I have a ton of time, but not a ton of money for a dog, usually things are the other way around for people. Hopefully I can work something out.

Norby's not mine, but I sit for him about once a month. I'm putting together a series of photos for his owner to pick out to make a poster of him. We're accumulating more photos to pick from.
