you mean double it?
well just double it in illy
??

you can scale the imported illy clipboard file to any size really.... just hold down shift to constrain the shape, make bigger or smaller.

I've wondered this as well. i don't know how to pre-set the size, or disable the feature entirely, so I just set guides in my PS document and scale to fit as required.
I know it's pain, but in a way it kind of makes sense - it is vector data after all...

Glad some of you understood my question :) Brain is offline..

PLACE the AI file in photoshop rather than pasting it, this will allow you to scale it and paste as paths or pixels.

Two things you can do. You can place the psd in Illustrator, position and scale your vector art and then copy it and a no fill/no stroke box the same size as the psd and paste into Photoshop.
The other way is to paste from Illustrator and type percentage and position values into the parameters just under the application menu.
