treating someone with disrespect because they are different from you (could be their skin color or their nationality) would be considered racist. example: saying something about italians or mexicans.

i dont know if you could consider english, irish, french as being a race. thats why im confussed. just as a matter of interest, why do people openly tell irish jokes and not see it as being racist then? they dont bother me but isnt it a form of racism?
