yeah, like if you do your movies in AE first, and then import then into flash and apply your animations or if its the other way around.
would be cool with some tips or tutorials to get me started.

I'm not sure, but if I remeber there is an export to swf in the 5.5 version. Even a FLV (flash video).
At least you can import a .mov or a .avi into flash mx...

just export your animation as pictures suqences, with alpha channels for seamless mixing, or if you know the background color your usin, you can save even more space by using plan picture sequences

If you are Flashing for the 6 or 7 plugin, then there's no reason you can't import Quicktime into Flash. The settings are minimal and very easy to understand. There are also components in Flash that will let you put controls on the movie in Flash.
Also, you can mask quicktime, put stuff over it, or treat it like any other object on the timeline.
I would suggest loading any quicktime with the loadMovie command. It will save you a lot of time if you publish a movie without megabytes of quicktime embedded in your swf.

You can export swf directly from After Effects. Not everything is supported, though, some things will have to be converted to bitmap. You always have to do a lot of 'cleanup' in flash, and it's very often not worth the bother.
You can also export pict sequences, but usually for projects were weight is an issue, it's not practical.
You can also open ae projects in live motion with adobe motion exchange and edit them, then export swf.
As for the other way around, ae can read swf (no movieclips, though), ae sequence and most video formats flash can export.
