I personally don't pay jakob's any attention.

Very good points, all of them, but I still hate the bastard.

actually I thought this thread was about me. But that other guy? I thought he had already had his 15 minutes of fame?

I don't think he can get away with any more inflammatory rhetoric. It's like Daffy when he blew himself up on stage.
"I know Bugs, but I can only do it once."

The only large graphics in Jakob's site are huge JPGs of himself (not a joke, the truth).
Macromedia Flash was inherently bad until they put him on the payroll.
What he meant to say is 'mistake #1, you didn't pay me'.
Sure, many of his points are valid, but most of what he says is a killer pseudo-scientist cocktail of arrogance and ignorance.

I don't know. That article reads more like his list of petty annoyances he encountered trying to read the news. But I guess it's good if it makes someone better or remember.

"Links to pages that have not been seen by the user are blue; links to previously seen pages are purple or red. Don't mess with these colors since the ability to understand what links have been followed is one of the few navigational aides that is standard in most web browsers. Consistency is key to teaching users what the link colors mean."
