Don't work overnights permanently like i did!!
It seemed to have been the cause for my severe flu, depressions, and probably a hefty eye-infection (which is, believe me, extremely extremely painful and regular painkillers don't help!!)(it might even be glaucoom but tomorrow the doctor will finally make out the diagnose..)
I can't tell you how much pain i've been thru for 6 consequent hours the past two nights. horrible.
you need to maximize sunlight in your life, and if there is really no sun out there you need to invest in artificial sunlight at your desk (at least 240$ though), like the ones Helios offers.
The lack of sunlight is one of the main causes for most of the physical and mental problems i had to deal with the last few days... so fuck night, i will work in daylight, and open the curtains go!
Let the sun come in..
(now i can only hope tonight won't be as horrifying as last night in measures of pain.. :(

oh yes, and for the NT redesign i am hoping for 12 pt. black type on white background, but i am afraid for the 'importance' of ''''style'''' that won't happen..

yes, i know. but i don't feel like it now.
i was seriously hoping to get some answers from people who had similar experiences and who have methods to bring down the pain a bit.
i have had many headaches in my life but i think few can beat the ones i had last 2 nights..

well the only advice i can give you is to make sure that you are eating well balanced meals or taking vitamin supplements... often things of this nature can be attributed to your body lacking nutrients. that's more of a long term solution. as for the short term, when i have a bad headache i find a rag, that is soaked with near sclading-hot water on the forehead seems to help a little bit.

Janne, lack of sunlight can severely affect vitamin levels in your blood, get some vitamins from the pharmacy.
if you are going to sleep in the day, sleep on a sofa that gets direct sunlight. You can learn to enjoy this, I do it daily.
If you can take the time to get out in the day for a 30 min walk.

Do you wear contacts? I had a couple eye infections this year. Not fun. Put some antibacterial oinment on it. works wonders for me.
As for working nights. Just dont. Make sure you get enuff sleep. You'll be a lot more productive and focused. I personnally like to do most of the work before noon.

I had / have the exact same problem with my sleep cycle problem.
All Hail to the Sun.... it's the source of all power.

what are you bitches whining about? not enough sunlight?
b.s. i sleep all day and work at night. sundown to sunup. i feel great. clinically, all the sunlight your body needs is about 3 minutes on your face, arms and neck. more than that goes straight into your skin cancer 401k.
artificial light - you need this only if you have mental problems

the sun is for whimps
stay up late like a grown kid

the trolls are winning, i am trying to have serious open discussions and constructive help.. but this is apparently too much to ask for a lot of you here..

bah just cos you lost youyr pink tan theres no need to moan, sounds like you need some sunlight and some vegetable curry ;)
I strongly believe in sunlight and water as great energisers, I always suffer seasonal affective disorder come the winter.
