thanks for helping me prove my point. :)
Ha, I read your post after I wrote that. Seriously, my job felt very safe after seeing that. I can't imagine a software company developing highlevel code in a third world country.

Nature of Business. Cut costs, make more money.

You can say I'm a jerk, but I plan on outsourcing 5 projects this Spring to both Russia and India to offshore resource centers I've come to find out about while working at a University. I see it as evolving nothing personal. Also plan on opening an offshore call center as well. On in Souther India in a place in Madras called Chennai. Should be profitable.

from working on about 5 different projects that were originally outsourced, your right. There are always major problems with web work, bot aesthetics and functionality. But the bottomline is that my organization saved a TON of money at paying $12 per hour instead of $25. Plain and simple.

you can thank the WTO etc for this. its called trade liberalisation. It has enriched the US and Europe up until now but the patterns are shifting. Maybe arrogance will shift with it.

yep, it's sad but it's the current state of the global economy. I'm gonna take my piece if it sits this way. Bend or be broken.

Cant see what your problem is...
American companies bought Jaguar, Rover, Roll Royce etc etc...
Nissan moved all their production to the UK...
capatiliasm. Supply and demand, Interviening in market forces, thats what communism and socialism do.

slag, you are so right it's not even funny and actually it's been happening one way or another since the beginning of America anyway so what the hell's the difference now? Not much. Sad but true.

like 15 pairs of trainers !!!
12 pairs of jeans !!!and loads of other crap.
IBM move jobs to keep up, Dell make laptops of pennies, and the only way they can keep up is by moving to India. It the consumer society you buy into.

When you loose your job because some kid in india takes it slag because he will work for cheaper than you,,, Have fun.
Dell just pulled all their tech support back to the US after having it in India... why? Poor quality of support and nobody could understand them, Gods honest truth.
Also.... 5000 jobs now will turn into another 5000 each year.... ..
2007 = 15000 jobs lost
Yes it is about trying to keep your buisness going, but moving jobs is still a crap ass way to not support your country.

welcome to the society Bush and Blair hold so dear. FREEDOM.
Freedom for rich bastards to do what ever the fuck they want, and to hell with it...
Read Adbusters, and remember everytime you do that ad for coke, nike et al, remember what your promoting. Cheap (slave) labour in Asia.
Ever read that stupid white men book. the chapter about malaysia. Just Do it.
In the UK they made 40,000 coal miners redundant, because its cheaper to by coal from poland.
Bush Tried to impose tariffs on steel to protect the steel industry. It doesnt work.
the power lies with business, thats why companies have governments over a barrel... reduce my companies taxes or im moving to India. They all do it. Lobbying bastards.
Ive been made redundant 3 times. I bounced back. They will too.

your pretty smart slag_you_off or king_kezza, is it? I would do the same, just drop out and travel like I did before, but I'm stuck these days, but those days will come again. it's ironic, half of the reason I want to set up offshore resources is due to the fact that I want to leave USA and live in another continent.
