I don't think that I'll will ever get a pet again, too much emotions and attachments.

god damned..my condolences. They really become part of your family.
Was looking at my two yesterday thinking they're getting old wondering how I'd feel when it happens.

Sorry to hear that :(
I sympathize with you. The dog that I had growing up-this was in 1994-he was getting old, but wasn't totally bad off, and my Dad just took him without me knowing and had him put to sleep. Came home from work at a grocery store and there was a letter from my dad on my desk telling me he did that.
I'll never forget how sad I felt knowing that the dog I cared for the most, who was a friend in that sense that animals you care about can be, was put to sleep and I didn't even get to have a say in it, say goodbye to him, be there when it was over.I think about my cat now, who is only like two years old, how I'll have her (provided she's healthy and all) well into my mid/late 30s and I think alot about how sad that will be when she's gone. I got her when she was a kitten and I love thinking about when she was getting used to my apartment, and the first time she curled up on my lap and started purring and fell asleep-when we became friends.
I really love animals, so I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. :)

I wish I had more money to spend on treatments but there was no guareentee. My dog (Brown) was sick around Thanksgiving - possible rat posioning - He was hospitalized and I brought him home and treated him for about 2 weeks, everything was fine until yeseterday. He didn't eat. And againg didn't eat today.
Doc said that it could be heart problems and that treatment are not guarenteed.

I seriously have such an attachment to my cat, I need to put up a pic of her.
She's hilarious, vicious, sweet, fun and good company.
A calico named Frankie.
I don't like boy cats at all. When she was a kitten, she was playing in the window and managed to scratch through the screen while "exploring" and next thing she knew she was falling FOUR FLOORS to the concrete sidewalk below.
I woke up late and she wasn't scratching at my door for food. Knew something was wrong. After not finding her, I went downstairs and she was sitting in a window ledge two feet off the ground.
She was totally in shock, nose scratched up and her paws bloody and bruised. She just groaned when I picked her up. Couldn't even take like four steps in the apartment without falling over and panting. It was so sad. She recovered in a few weeks and I'm a little more careful about leaving windows open.
but something tells me she wouldn't do it again...

people sometimes have too many motives, dogs don't, they just want to make you happy

I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.
