what software can i use to trace my drawings, into a bitmap or fill like in flash's trace bitmap. i want my bitmap to be trace and have no hassles on filling them with colors on my machine, hope somebody knows waht i mean, thanks in advanced

I've never used it but I think Adobe Streamline does that? I could be wrong...

Illustrator can trace a bitmap that yoiu import and make a template. I haven't done that in years, so you'l lhave to look up the details.
Photoshop can create a path out of a selection, but that could be more tedious.
Flash can do it and with more adjustable precision.
Streamline will vectorize a tiff.

freehand can do it aswell, streamline has the most tweakability.
