Excellent, as far as I am concerned they are the establishment in this country for modernism in graphic design, real simple, slick yet beautifully executed design.
God is in the details!

Great links, don't forget http://www.nbstudio.co.uk/ though, more quality design goodness.
CartlidgeLevene are excellent, I love their minimal approach, it's just a shame I can't convince my clients to go for it :(

Yeah, I know, clients tend to want to always say as much as they can, in everything they do, I'm a strong believer in reduction, boil information down to the very last and all that, but if you look at Cartlidge Levene's client list the respect they must get as visual communicators, they are probably left to just get on with it.

ill probably get slagged for this but i just wish clients would just shut the fuck up most of the time.
we know.. or we are supposed to know how to communicate visually.. why dont they just tell us what they want to do and to who.. then let us do our bit and let the end user/reader decide if it works or not.

You won't get slagged off me fella, I know what your sayin' 100% I think there are alot of people in business who view design as a after thought "making things look nice" and that is shite.
I am often only included in the creative process when it is too late which pisses me off too, plus I think alot of people think what we do is easy, because we used computers and stuff, the skill element from the client's perspective is not there wankers!!
